Recipe: Watermelon Coconut Mocktail

Eating seasonally is a wonderful way to boost your health. In December, we're loving our Watermelon Coconut Mocktail. 

Hydrating, refreshing and delicious, it's also super simple to make - great for those days when you just want to head out the door to go enjoy the sun, surf and sand. It's also a wonderful way to keep the whole family consciously hydrated in a super tasty way. 

Naturally rich in key electrolyte minerals like potassium, magnesium and calcium, it makes a great mocktail to enjoy at festive occasions, and to clink after sweaty activities like hiking or surfing. 

Lyftaal Paarl Recipe: Watermelon Coconut Mocktail


Yields 4 servings

  • Half a whole watermelon, skinned + cubed 
  • 2 cups of ice
  • 2 cups of coconut water 
  • Juice of one lime (optional)
  • A few mint or basil leaves (optional)


Add all the ingredients to a blender, blitz and enjoy!

TOP TIP! You can also turn this amazing drink into popsicles for the kids (and grownups!).
