Lyftaal Sanctuary Policy
A gentle note on time
There is nothing we love more than welcoming you to our sanctuary. In the spirit of mutual respect, we kindly ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your first scheduled treatment. This allows time for a professional consultation (to ensure optimum results), and gives you a moment to unwind and breathe. If you arrive late, your treatment time may be reduced so we can remain on schedule for the rest of the day; the full treatment fee will still apply.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Because we book your treatments into generous time slots (so therapists can work without rushing), we reserve that time especially for you.
We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

Please note: notice must be given during business hours.

Saturdays and Sundays do not count as lead time to Monday.
If cancellations/reschedules are made within less than 24 hours and we are unable to fill the appointment from our waiting list, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
You will receive a courtesy reminder (text or phone call) the day before your appointment. If you can’t make it, please let us know as soon as possible.

Parking
We invite you to make use of the parking space in front of our building, or alternatively, you are welcome to park on the open grass area opposite. We kindly ask that you always follow local traffic regulations and be mindful of our neighbours, as we are part of a family-oriented community and wish to maintain a respectful and harmonious environment for everyone.
Child Policy
To ensure a safe and relaxing experience for all guests:

We’re not able to accommodate children under 12.

Guests under 16 are welcome when accompanied by an adult.

Treatment prices remain as advertised, regardless of age.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to providing a nurturing experience for every visitor.
Waiting & Relaxation Room
Our waiting and relaxation area is reserved for clients with confirmed appointments. As seating is limited, we kindly ask that no additional guests accompany you into this space. Thank you for understanding.
Indemnity
Lyftaal, its employees, and/or consultants may not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage (direct or indirect) suffered while on the premises or while under the care of our team. All spa facilities are used at your own risk.

Our treatment menu is effective from 1 April 2025 and is subject to change without prior notice.
Gift Card Policy

Validity: In line with the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa, gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase, or until exchanged for goods/services.

Best value window: Redeem your gift card within 6 months of issue to enjoy its full value for the treatment gifted. After 6 months, you may be required to settle any difference in value.

Booking ahead: We encourage early redemption and recommend booking well in advance to ensure availability.

Verification: Lyftaal reserves the right to verify the gift card's authenticity.

Blackout dates: Gift cards may have blackout dates during peak periods (e.g., public holidays). We appreciate your understanding and recommend checking in advance to plan your visit.

Resale/transfer: Gift cards may be resold/transferred if the voucher owner provides written permission to Lyftaal. If you’d like to re-gift it as a new physical gift card, a small replacement fee will apply. Please don’t worry - we will ensure that this fee is kept to a minimum.

Lost/stolen/damaged: We unfortunately cannot accept responsibility for any certificates that are lost, stolen, damaged, or used without authorisation.

Top-ups: If the gift card value does not cover the full service/product amount, the bearer must pay the balance.

Business closure: If the business were to close or undergo a transition, we kindly ask you to understand that any outstanding gift cards might need to be cancelled. We truly value your support and regret any inconvenience this may cause.

Terms updates: These terms may be updated from time to time and will be available on our website. We encourage you to check occasionally for the most current version.
