This foot treatment is ideal for diabetics and individuals suffering from cracked heels or excessive hard skin build-up on their feet. We use a scientifically formulated, pain-free treatment to expertly remove any stubborn hard skin without injuring healthy skin in the process.

A paraffin dip involves the dipping of hands or feet in a warm, oil-based wax that softens the skin, relieves joint pain & stiffness and promotes blood flow to the treated area.

We use gel polish that gently adheres to your natural nail plate and stays intact for an extended period of time with high shine and a lesser chance of cracking, peeling or chipping. *We recommend that this polish is soaked off in order to minimise damage to the nail plate.

You settle in our steam room, where you alternate between hot & cold temperatures; take the bundles of twigs and leafy branches provided, dip it in cold water and briskly smack it over your body to improve circulation & impart the therapeutic benefits of the plants. Tea is served afterwards.

Gua Sha Facelift Ritual 75min

The Philosophia Botanica ritual really leans into our natural approach to skin health. This non-invasive, alternative facial therapy incorporates traditional Gua sha techniques that include lymphatic drainage, acupressure, facial muscle sculpting, and -lifting.

Gua Sha is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that would normally consist of vigorous scraping of the skin using a tool to cause redness on the surface of the skin to promote proper flow of energy (Qi) and blood. This, in turn, is said to bring about balance and healing.

However, when treating the face gentle pressure and other relaxing techniques are sufficient for the face area to achieve the same desired results for an immediate overall glow.
